Can we speak of an emerging global civil society? Does it promise a world for all? The Centre for Theology and Public Issues, University of Edinburgh and the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College Dublin, are holding this international, interdisciplinary conference to explore these empirical and ethical questions. Abstracts of 200 words should be submitted by 4 March, 2005.
