Cultural Extravaganza for a Sustainable Future

Dungog Panay is attracting attention. The city of Iloilo is awash in posters and streamers announcing the event and people are taking notice.

Amidst widespread frustration, anger and despair, many are asking: "Does the Philippines have a future?" Here in Panay, many share these concerns, yet in our midst are individuals and groups, including tens of thousands of micro-entrepreneurs who, through dedication and excellence, are already creating the foundations of another, more visionary Philippines. Thus, was born: "Dungog Panay", a conference and mini festival highlighting excellence and achievement in Panay with the theme: "Celebrating Excellence for a Visionary Panay", to be held November 12-13, 2005 at the West Visayas State University Cultural Center.
